Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) Information

The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is a programme funded by the Scottish Government and administered to Local Authority Education Departments for schools throughout Scotland. If you are currently studying at Wallace Hall Academy and were born between 1st March 1993 and 28th February 1997 you may be eligible for an EMA.

In order to check whether you are entitled to EMA please click on the link titled EMA Additional Guidance. If you need guidance on how to complete the EMA form please click on the link titled Guidance for Completing the EMA Application Form.

If successful you must ensure that you have completed a Wallace Hall Academy Learning Agreement and hand it in to Mrs Menzies in the LRC. This form must be signed by your parent/guardian.

Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) application forms for session 2012/2013 and WHA Learning Agreement forms are now available in the LRC.
